Neuroscience Summer School
Neuroplasticity in Health and Disease

May 30 - June 6, 2010
University of Western Ontario
London, ON

Designed for third- and fourth-year students seeking careers in neuroscience, this week-long intensive course provides an overview of neuroplasticity as the mechanism underlying physiological and cognitive performance in health and disease. Students will learn from leaders in the neurosciences through seminars, laboratory experience, and informal discussion groups.

Specific topics include neural development, seasonal and circadian rhythms, learning and memory, reward and addiction, neurotrauma, and neurological disease. The $400-program includes food, accommodation and local transportation. Applications received before April 15 are eligible for scholarships support.
