This is the fifth joint meeting of the Experimental Psychology Society (EPS) and the Canadian Society for Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Science. Previously the societies met together in Oxford (1987), Toronto (1993), Cambridge (2000) and Montreal (2005). These were excellent scientific meetings and also stimulating and friendly occasions. We are confident that this year's meeting will follow in the same tradition.

The meeting will take place at the Hospitium in the Yorkshire Museum Gardens. Note that this is in the York city centre and not on the University of York campus!

York is a beautiful and historic city situated in North Yorkshire in England. The city has been in existence for over 2000 years and there is plenty of history in evidence including the York Minster and the Jorvik Viking Centre.
