General Information

The 34th Annual Meeting of the CSBBCS / SCSCCC will take place in-person June 25th to 27th 2024 at the University of Alberta. 

The CSBBCS / SCSCCC meeting provides an excellent opportunity for those involved in research in the fields of brain science, behavioural science and cognitive science to present their latest findings, to learn about new research developments, and to interact with others with similar interests. 

This year’s meeting will take place in person on the beautiful river valley campus of the University of Alberta. Come for the conference, stay for Edmonton!

Registration costs will be $180 for Associate members and $220 for Full Members.

Talks will be 12 minutes plus 3 minutes for questions.
Posters can be a maximum of 6 feet wide x 4 feet tall.

A CSBBCS / SCSCCC banquet is scheduled for June 26th.
A student social event is scheduled for June 25th.

Call for Symposium Proposals

This is a call for symposia for the upcoming meeting of CSBBCS / SCSCCC at the University of Alberta between June 25th - 27th 2024.

Symposium proposals will be considered with a deadline of February 29th 2024. Symposium topics can cover any area of brain, behaviour and cognitive science.

Symposia are 1 hour in length with 4 x 15 minute slots (approximately 12 minutes per talk, 3 minutes for questions). Symposium organizers are invited to submit a proposal, including:
a) Symposium Title
b) Symposium Description
c) Potential Symposium Speakers
d) EDI considerations in topic selection / composition of speakers
e) Indicate whether you would be interested in submitting symposium talks as a collection of short papers for Canadian Journal of Experimental Psychology (CJEP).
